About Reem Gaafar
Reem Gaafar is an attorney and land tenure specialist with the Africa program at Landesa. She joined Landesa in 2011 right out of law school. The bulk of her current work focuses on Kenya and Ghana, where she works on improving women’s access to land as well as on the sustainability of communal forms of land tenure. She has also conducted policy research on women’s rights in several countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
