The United Nations and the global community have put women’s land rights on the 2030 development agenda, with land rights featuring prominently in the Sustainable Development Goals related to poverty, food security, and gender equality. As the SDGs evolve from the conceptual and into implementation, Landesa will participate in a panel discussion focusing on women’s land rights and the 2030 agenda as part of UN Women’s 2016 Conference on the Status of Women.
