Last month on International Women’s Day, adolescent girls in six districts of West Bengal rallied to celebrate the power of land and the power of women. The march, organized by participants of Landesa’s Girls Project, was a day to rejoice in the extraordinary acts of women and to stand together, as a united force to advance gender equity and women’s rights to land.
