Landesa is proud to provide outstanding paid Research Assistant opportunities for graduate and law students on a full or part time basis during the school year and during the summer. Applicants should have strong research and writing skills and a demonstrated interest in Landesa’s mission of securing land tenure for the world’s poorest people. Preference is given to work study eligible students. Recruiting for these positions is through an applicant pool. Available positions will also be posted online.
Unpaid undergraduate Internships will also be posted as they open, both for summer and school year opportunities.
We try to staff for summer openings by early spring. We consider applications over 12 months old to be invalid. Landesa does not offer formal volunteer opportunities or grant degrees or credit at this time.
Consulting Opportunities
Landesa supplements its regular Seattle home office and overseas staff with the expertise of skilled international consultants. We maintain an active roster of consultants in support of our program needs. We encourage consultants with specialized skills in legal, policy, and monitoring and evaluation issues related to land access and tenure security to submit their qualifications to be considered for inclusion in our roster. To be included, forward your CV to: consultants@landesa.org. We encourage consultants to submit their updated CVs on a regular basis, preferably every six months.
