December 26, 2013 — Landesa just released a collection of case studies about two government-sponsored women’s collective farming projects in India designed to empower women. The studies, conducted jointly with UN WOMEN, help us see what projects are working and why and what barriers remain. This collection looks at one program in Andhra Pradesh and one in Kerala. These programs are often cited as having achieved both women’s empowerment and rural livelihoods successfully at scale. | Download full report
