Gina Alvarado is a Senior Research and Evaluation Advisor based in Washington, D.C. Gina began working for Landesa in 2017.
What brought you to Landesa?
Landesa’s vision and mission to support the land rights of vulnerable peoples, mostly rural women and men, to provide opportunity and promote social justice.
What inspires your work?
I am inspired by the work of all our colleagues in programs in different geographies.
What work at Landesa makes you particularly proud?
All the work our colleagues at programs do, sometimes in really hard conditions, makes me proud. It is difficult to select one particular piece of work because it is all complementary.
Describe your vision for a better world.
A world in which we no longer need to advocate for more equality in the access to land and resources for the more vulnerable populations.
