Landesa is pleased to welcome Gloria Jimwaga as its first Hilton Fellow. Gloria will be supporting the Center for Women’s Land Rights from March through June. Gloria, from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is currently pursuing her Masters in Rural Development and Natural Resource Management at Swedish University of Agricultural Science, Uppsala, Sweden. She has four years’ experience in land and natural resource management relating to land tenure systems, climate change, and environmental conservation with a particular focus on marginalized and excluded groups in Tanzania.
Gloria comes to Landesa through the Hilton Prize Coalition Fellows Program, which aims to cultivate emerging leaders in the humanitarian and development sectors.
