Amidst soaring temperatures in Odisha, government officials are going the extra mile to deliver land titles, or pattas, to the doorsteps of single women. The deliveries mean that beneficiaries can avoid traveling long distances in the hot weather to obtain their land titles.
In the past month, more than 400 titles were distributed to vulnerable single women through Odisha’s Women’s Support Center program, with support from Landesa.
