On International Women’s Day (IWD), Tuesday, March 8, let’s remind our followers that laws and customs block women’s empowerment in half the countries on the planet. Landesa will publish a new Women’s Land Rights Infographic, “The Law of the Land,” during the week of IWD. The infographic calls attention to the status of women’s land, property, and inheritance rights for the world’s 400 million women farmers.
During the week of March 7 – 11, please join us in sharing this important new infographic that pulls together data from FAO, ILO, OECD, and from studies around the world to show the systematic barriers women face.
