2016 AWID Forum

Landesa Center for Women’s Land Rights Director Tzili Mor and women’s land rights professionals Faith Alubbe, Dorcas Okeng and Sabita Pallas are co-presenting this week at the quadrennial Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID) Forum in Bahia, Brazil. The group’s presentation, “Reaping What We Sow: Why Land Rights Matter for Women and How They Can Grow,” explores gains, gaps, and strategies to strengthen women’s rights to land through innovative interventions and effective alliances.

The AWID Forum convenes participants from across movements and sectors to strategize for advancing the rights of women globally. This year’s theme is “Feminist Futures: Building Collective Power for Rights and Justice.”

Deliver for Good at the UN General Assembly
